Blue Cross Month

On some weekends, you'll find me working at Sheffield's Blue Cross Rehoming, Advice and Behaviour Unit.

June is Blue Cross Month, and it’s our special time when the entire Blue Cross family comes together to raise as much money as we can, so we can continue to care for all the adorable pets who find their way through our charity doors.

Wing Walk for Pets

This year, I’ve decided to take part in a WING WALK! I’ll be strapped to the top of a bi-plane, feeling the wind in my hair (and face) as we soar over 500 feet into the sky (fingers crossed for blue skies!) I’ll be flying at speeds of up to 130 mph. It’s going to be an adrenaline-pumping experience!

Meet the real boss.

Get ready to meet Roxy, the sweetest 13-year-old Boxer around! Born in Derbyshire but raised in South Yorkshire, this beautiful girl has been a part of our crazy clan since she was just 8 weeks old. Roxy has taught us to love without boundaries, to be patient and most of all, to live life to the max by your own rules.

Since 2012 this chicken enthusiast has been by my side, adding flavour and fun to each and every day. She's always overflowing with affection and undoubtedly my closest companion.

I can confirm that there's no love sweeter than the love from a pup!
